LEARNING CULTURE PROCEDURES FOR THE CLASSROOM
To develop empathy, respect and tolerance for others in order for all students to reach their full potential.
The learning culture procedures and structures are mechanisms to support and maintain safe and supportive classrooms within the school environment. The learning culture classroom strategies are based on the Glenholme School Learner Dispositions and Glenholme School Values.
All reward systems reinforce:
● the five dispositions: Innovator, Risk Taker, Collaborator, Thinker, and Self-Regulator
● the four values: Respect, Integrity, Diversity and Excellence. Classes may also create a class contract, treaty or rules.
